Man, Elazul...he was the first guy I ever fangirled over. I got this munny the other day, I'm thinking of making it into Elazul. Or Jin from Samurai Champloo. Or Demyx.
But anyway...now has anyone played Dawn of Mana? I got that game a while back, but I got stuck at this one part early on and never came back to it. So I started it over last weekend and good god is that game horrible! Like, I keep waiting for the real game to start. All you do is run around and kill things. No mazes, no puzzles, no items, no sidequests - oh, and get this: the game is divided into chapters, and at the start of each chapter you loose all spells, abilities, and powerups obtained in the previous chapter and start back at square one! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!!?? I'll say more about it once I beat it but I don't think it'll get any better. It just makes me want to play good old LoM.
Oh, and the LoM millennium edition with the Jumi music box was back on ebay the other day...but it was like $65 plus lots of shipping. Arg! That and the elusive art book are like holy grails...

"If they're friends, they're clearly lovers. If they're enemies, they're clearly lovers. If they've never even met, they're clearly lovers." The Yaoi Fangirl's Philosophy
Secret of Mana isn't that great either. Even though I cosplayed it. >_<

"Denizens of light...answer this...DO YOU LIKE WAFFLES?"
"NO!!!"
"Then allow me another question...DO YOU LIKE PANCAKES?"
"NO!!!"
"That may be...however...DO YOU LIKE FRENCH TOAST?"

But besides the obvious, I loved LoM's dialogue trees and how you could take any number of routes to end up at a single conclusion.

That has to be in my top five of favorite games ever.
