My final for materials and techniques 2. It's for the cd cover of the audio drama 'Rory Rammer: Space Marshal,' a campy sci-fi radio series written by my friend's dad.
Not only am I not used to painting, but I'm not used to doing realistic stuff, so yeah. Painted with acrylic and gouache...a simultaneously convenient and frustrating combination. Podcast of one of the episodes: [link] |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. If I may give one piece of advice, I think the rocket ship has a little too much highlight on it, which makes it leap forward. Just flatten it out and I think you're good!
And I must also say that I really love your figures' gestures! They have a lovely animated look which makes it look like they'll jump off the page. Overall, it a very nice piece!
